The all-new Vivo Y20 entry-level smartphone packs a modest Snapdragon chipset and 4GB RAM/64GB of ROM.
Design and Display
VivoY20 has a 6.51-inch, 720p display. The selfie camera is housed in a small dew-drop notch. It is LCD-capacitive so it can’t display 16M colors as smoothly. These specs are reasonable for an entry-level phone, but we have to accept the high price. We recommend looking at other options before settling on this one.
It has a plastic front, back, and overall frame made of plastic. The Vivo Y20 weighs in at 192.3g and is available in Obsidian Black or Dawn White. Each color gives you a unique look, but be aware that the back can get scratches and smudge lines from time to time, so don’t expect to be too irritated!
The phone is slim and lightweight. It’s sturdy and won’t crack, despite the flaws in the material. It’s been tested!
Performance and Hardware
Funtouch OS 10.5 is based on Android 10 and the Vivo Y20 packs 4GB RAM+64GB inbuilt storage. Multitasking and gaming are not allowed. The UI is easy to use and intuitive. The interface can sometimes stutter and it can be difficult to play PUBG. The Snapdragon 460 chipset is a low-end chip, and Vivo Y20 doesn’t recommend it for heavy usage.
You won’t experience any difficulties with the fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Y20 features a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP+2MP+2MP+2MP module at the back. Auto-focus works well with the rear camera setup. The 8MP sensor in the dew-drop selfie camera has poor picture quality and is overexposed.
The 5000mAh battery provides support and good timing for daily tasks. The proprietary fast charging technology transforms your battery from 0-100% in just 80 minutes.
This handset is a basic entry-level phone with minimal specs. The camera module is not very powerful. It’s an excellent phone for small tasks such as using WhatsApp, and Facebook, streaming videos, texting, and making calls. We recommend looking through Realme and Infinix versions for PKR 26,000. This phone is a good choice if you prefer large batteries to all the technical jargon.
