Vivo X90 and X90 Pro Launched With Dimensity 9200 and 120W Fast Charging. The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are the latest members of the X-series and are packed with enhancements in comparison to their older models. Both phones run on MediaTek’s top-of-the-line Dimensity 9200 chipset , and come with outstanding cameras and fast charging speeds.

The two phones are only different in terms of battery specifications along with camera camera specs.

Design and Display

The X90 and X90 Pro come with 6.78-inch AMOLED screens that have curved edges, Resolution of QHD+ and 120Hz refresh rate. The screens output colors with a 10-bit resolution (1 billion) and can achieve up to 1,300 Nits of brightness at its peak. The screen has a curvature along the sides as those of the Pro+ model. This model’s basic version of the screen is restricted to IP64 resistance, while the Pro model gets IP68.

Internals and Software

In contrast to that of the Pro+ model, which comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the basic X90 along with the X90 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s Dimenisty 9200 SoC. It’s MediaTek’s most recent and most powerful flagship chip for Android phones and an impressive competition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The phones both have 8-12 GB of RAM, but the standard X90 offers 128 GB or 512 storage options, while the X90 Pro will give you the 256GB and 512GB.

Chinese models will receive Origin OS 3 on top of Android 13 while worldwide versions will be upgraded over to Funtouch OS.

Cameras

The X90 comes with an IMX866 Sony 50MP main sensor that has an f/1.75 lens as well as OIS for the camera. Its X90 Pro gets the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor that has a large f/1.75 aperture similar to that of the Pro+ version. The camera comes with two lens options: a 12-megapixel Ultrawide Camera (IMX663) and the 12MP IMX663 with two times optical zoom for photographs with telephoto zoom. The V2 ISP chip that is used for image processing gives more efficient performance in low-light conditions.

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro have faster charging speeds as compared to that of the Pro+ model at 120W (up from 80W) however they do not have wireless charging. The former comes with an mAh battery of 4810, while the latter has an mAh of 4870.

Chinese beginning prices of those with the Vivo the X90 as well as X90 Pro are $518 and $700 and $700, respectively. Prices in the global market will be more expensive.
