Fake Return Tickets Caused Pakistani Visitors to Be Sent Back from UAE

On Wednesday, the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs received information that Pakistani visitors were being returned from the UAE because they didn’t meet the requirements of the UAE government or had fake return tickets. Presided over by Senator Farooq Naek. The meeting discussed the issue of Pakistanis being sent back to Pakistan via the UAE. These were isolated incidents and were not connected. Visitors were sent back because they didn’t meet the requirements of the UAE government. Further, the committee was informed that it was discovered that the return tickets that are required for travel to the UAE weren’t genuine.

This was a grave concern for the chairman of the committee. He stated that such incidents are detrimental to the image of the country. The Foreign Office was directed to take strict action.

 

At the meeting were Senators Palwasha Mohammed Zai Khan, Mehr Taj Roghani and Mehr Taj Roghani. Also present was Anwaar ul Kakar, Danesh Kumar and Bahramand Khan Tangi.
